We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Human Resources Administration Officer to support our Human Resources Manager and contribute to the success of our growing NDIS and Aged Care services.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with a passion for people, compliance, and workforce support to develop their career within the health, disability, and aged care sectors.
The HR Administration Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Human Resources function by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, compliance monitoring, training coordination, employee records management, and workforce administration.
Reporting to the Human Resources (Workflow) Manager, you will provide administrative support across all areas of human resources and workforce compliance while helping maintain a positive and professional employee experience.
You will work closely with managers and staff across the organisation to ensure employee documentation, credentialing, mandatory checks and training, and workforce records are accurate, up to date, and compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements.
Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Manager.
Assist with recruitment activities, including advertising, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and reference checks.
Prepare employment contracts, position descriptions, onboarding documentation, and employee correspondence.
Coordinate employee onboarding and induction processes.
Maintain confidential employee records and HR databases.
Assist with employee lifecycle processes including probation reviews, contract renewals, promotions, transfers, and separations.
Support workforce engagement and employee wellbeing initiatives.
Monitor and maintain employee compliance records.
Ensure all mandatory employment documentation is current and recorded, including:
National Police Checks
NDIS Worker Screening Clearances
Working with Children Checks (where applicable)
Driver Licences
Professional registrations and qualifications
Vaccination requirements (where applicable)
First Aid and CPR certifications
Track and monitor expiry dates and renewal requirements.
Assist with workforce audits and compliance reporting.
Assist with coordinating mandatory training and professional development activities.
Maintain staff training registers and learning records.
Assist with scheduling internal and external training sessions.
Monitor completion of mandatory workforce training requirements.
Prepare HR reports, workforce statistics, and compliance reports.
Support policy and procedure reviews and document control processes.
Assist with meeting coordination, minute taking, and HR projects.
Maintain confidentiality and privacy of employee information at all times.
Certificate IV or higher qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Administration, or a related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience.
Previous experience in an administrative role.
Minimum of 1+ years of administrative experience required.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
Current Driver Licence.
Australian permanent residency is required for this position.
Previous experience in Human Resources administration.
Experience within the NDIS, disability, community services, health, or aged care sectors.
Understanding of workforce compliance requirements within regulated industries.

Experience using HR / CRM information systems and workforce management software.
Qualifications or experience in Work Health and Safety (WHS).
