The opportunity

We are currently seeking a Planning & Procurement administrator to join our planning team onsite.

The position is a data heavy role that supports the Livestock Planning & Procurement Team, and the role includes but is not limited to leave coverage, scheduling, reports, reconciliations, data entry, costings, project work, and various other tasks within the team’s wide scope. A flexible and multitasking mindset focused on team and support ensure success in the role.

Key Duties of the role include:

• Support with items such as, but not limited to leave coverage, reports, reconciliations, data entry, forecasting, costings, bookings, scheduling, meeting support, project work, etc.
• A core focus on data entry, reporting, costings, and leave coverage support of multiple roles.
• Support in daily kill balancing prep.
• Provide reports as necessary, as directed by manager.
• Demonstrate and exercise a commitment to promote, develop and improve the health, safety, environment and welfare of our people and animals.
• Carry out any other reasonable and lawful directions that may be given from time to time by the company.

Who we are

Swickers Kingaroy Bacon Factory is an export meat processing facility, based in the South Burnett Region and is ideally located just 2 - 3 hours’ drive to Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Fraser Coast. Swickers has been in operation in Kingaroy for over 50 years and today employs approximately 850 employees.

As part of the Sunpork Group, Swickers is a state-of-the-art processing facility specialising solely in the production of fresh pork and distributing it widely across Australia and internationally. Swickers processes 95% of all Queensland’s pork production, including the production of various pork value-add products for consumers worldwide. What we’re looking for

Sunpork has established an efficient, highly skilled yet diversified team. As a key member you will have:

• An understanding/willingness to build an understanding of SunPorks Livestock processes and flow.
• An understanding/willingness to build an understanding of SunPork, their customers, suppliers, products, and specifications.
• Ability to work cross functionally supporting multiple roles and tasks across the team.
• Experience in using Microsoft suit (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• A high focus on a team approach to tasks, challenges, support, etc.
• A high focus on effective communications.
