About the Role:

We are currently seeking experienced Loader Operators and Excavator Operators to join a well-established operation in the Toowoomba region. This is a hands-on role working with bulk materials, loading a variety of heavy vehicles and equipment, and contributing to the safe and efficient day-to-day running of the site.

This position suits operators who take pride in their work, understand the importance of product quality, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating CAT 980 Loaders and excavators in a safe and efficient manner
• Loading a variety of vehicles including truck and dog combinations, articulated dump trucks (moxies), and other heavy transport equipment
• Managing material movement and stockpile areas
• Conducting pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks
• Working closely with site personnel to ensure operational requirements are met
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety, and product quality
• Providing professional and courteous interactions with customers, contractors, and visitors to site

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience operating CAT 980 loaders
• Excavator operating experience highly regarded
• Experience working with bulk materials, aggregates, construction materials, or similar products
• Strong awareness of product segregation and contamination prevention
• Ability to load vehicles accurately and efficiently while maintaining product quality
• Commitment to workplace safety and following site procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
