Stratum Civil, a leader in the construction industry is in a current growth journey and looking to hire a Surveyor to join our team.

This experienced and enthusiastic Civil Surveyor will join our team on a full-time basis working alongside our contracting team, project managers and engineers.  This role is a key player in our construction process working across Toowoomba.

Responsibilities

• Conducting all aspects of the surveying process across sites and projects including: 

• Bulk earthworks, stormwater, water, sewer infrastructure and roadworks for residential, industrial, and commercial projects. 

• Carry out survey calculations, drafting and reports.

• Provide expert advice, management & instruction on a range of surveying projects.

• Manage and control survey documentation to statutory authorities.

• Perform fieldwork, calculations, data processing & management of the total project,

• Liaison with clients, communication within the business and assisting with budgets, accounts.

• Adhere to the company’s work, health & safety policies.

Essential skills & Experience 

• Previous experience working on engineering surveying projects in a senior capacity.

• Demonstrated time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects at once. 

• Motivated about the industry and genuine interest in Surveying. 

• Experience managing multiple projects at once.

• Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software.

• Strong technical and communication skills.
