Our client is a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm with offices across Queensland. Known for their collaborative culture and practical approach, they partner directly with clients to deliver innovative solutions across agriculture, industrial, infrastructure and the built environment. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Building Designer to join their Toowoomba team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with approximately 2-3+ years' experience who enjoys Revit-based building design and wants to grow beyond drafting into project management, client engagement and leadership over time.

You'll work closely with experienced Building Designers, Engineers and Project Managers while receiving structured mentoring and development support.

The Role

Initially, your focus will be:

• Revit modelling and documentation
• Building design and detailing
• Design coordination
• Learning internal standards and quality systems

As your capability grows, you'll gain exposure to:

• Project management
• Client liaison
• Consultant coordination
• Development and building approvals
• Commercial project delivery

About You

You may be:

• Studying or have completed a Bachelor of Building Design
• From an Architectural Technology or Building Design background
• A Building Designer looking for broader project exposure
• Passionate about industrial, commercial or agricultural projects

You'll ideally have:

• 2-3+ years industry experience
• Revit experience
• Strong communication skills
• Initiative and problem-solving ability
• A collaborative approach to teamwork

This is a highly collaborative team where people support one another and share knowledge.

This is not a role for someone wanting to sit behind a screen producing drawings all day. It is designed for someone who wants to develop into a well-rounded Building Designer and Project Professional.
