Private Housekeeper

We are seeking an exceptional and highly capable Housekeeper to support the smooth and effortless running of a private residence.

The Role:

Based in Kingaroy, you will be caring for the home of a professional family. The position is well suited for a semi-retiree or a person looking for work within school hours. The position will be approximately 18 hours per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am - 2:30pm. You will take ownership of the day to day running of the household, ensuring the home is maintained to an impeccable standard of cleanliness and managing the day-to-day running of the household.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the cleanliness, order and presentation of the home to an impeccably high standard

• Applying advanced attention to detail, ensuring every area is immaculately presented and consistently maintained

• Managing all laundry processes including washing, folding and clothing care with minimal ironing requirements

• Providing wardrobe management including organisation and presentation

• Ensuring kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas are reset daily and always maintained to a high standard

• Organising and maintaining cupboards, linen storage, wardrobes and pantry areas with clear systems and structure

• Managing household inventory including purchasing/pick up of groceries, cleaning products and essential supplies, ensuring nothing runs out

• Some light cooking - preparation of small meals, snacks etc

• Managing pantry organisation and food rotation

• Supporting the overall flow and readiness of the household day to day

• Contributing to a calm, orderly, and well managed living space

• Exceptional attention to detail with commitment to flawless presentation

• Strong organisational capability and the ability to implement and maintain systems

• Effective time management

• Solid knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials and garment care

• Confidence managing household inventory and daily operations

• A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs without direction

• Confidence working independently and taking full ownership of your role

• A natural inclination to maintain standards and take pride in your work

• You must have respect for boundaries and the ability to always work with discretion
