OAKEY BEEF EXPORTS

You'll be working at Oakey Beef Exports, one of Australia's largest beef processing plants. Located on the Darling Downs, just 26km west of Toowoomba, Oakey is a welcoming and family-friendly town that offers a real country experience and genuine hospitality.

What is the opportunity?

We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer.

We're looking for someone who is innovative, smart and reliable with a passion for people.

You should possess the ability to produce quality outcomes in a timely manner.

Whilst being surrounded by a supportive team and a great manager, you will be able to work effectively and deliver positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Include?

• Participate in day-to-day tasks and Employee Relations issues.

• Support end to end recruitment activities.

• Support compliance and procedural auditors.

• Support line management with performance and attendance management advice.

• Participate in projects - we are close to launching our new HRIS Dayforce.

• Conduct effective workplace disciplinary investigations.

• Maintain employee's electronic records and data base within Dayforce.

• Compile reports and data for management.

• Ensure HR Records are accurate - and update in timely manner.

• Ensure confidentiality at all times.

Ideally, candidates with the following attributes are encouraged to apply:

• 3-5 years previous experience in Human Resources.

• Qualifications in HR/IR or related disciplines.

• Demonstrate working knowledge of Industrial Relations principles and workplace legislation.

• Have good computer skills in the Microsoft Suite and HRIS systems - preferably Dayforce.

• Knowledge of visa and labour hire agreements.

• Have good communication and phone skills

• Have good organisational skills-It's a busy department.

• Ideally have previous experience in manufacturing or agriculture industry.

• Show a high level of confidentiality
