The Opportunity

The ICT Project Manager is responsible for supporting ICT enabled initiatives and delivery of streams of work within a program of work. A core part of your role will be to identify/verify project scopes, develop/maintain project schedules, milestones, budgets and key deliverables to achieve project delivery on time, on budget and within expected quality standards. You will be responsible for project resourcing, communication flow, risk management and procurement management for successful project delivery.

This role encompasses a range of duties and responsibilities which may vary as directed by Council. The key ones include:

• Providing ICT project management leadership for ICT projects and business critical ICT systems

• Coordinating ICT projects, including new projects, upgrades and maintenance, change and improvements

• Engaging with business and other stakeholders to develop business cases, determine project scope, budget, overall plan and statement of work 

 About Yourself

A person in this position will need to hold a relevant Degree in a related field, OR be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience. It is also highly desirable for the successful candidate to have;

• 5 years project management experience

• Prince2 / PMBOK / Agile Certification

• ITILv3 Certification
