Toowoomba Saddlery is seeking a dedicated Saddle Maker to join our growing workshop team. As a Saddle maker, you will play a crucial role in crafting high-quality saddles and tack alongside our experienced team.

Whether you're experienced or looking to build your skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a respected Australian manufacturer in full-time position based in Toowoomba, Queensland.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assemble saddles, tack, and associated equipment to specifications

• Assist experienced saddlers.

• Operate and maintain specialised saddle-making machinery and tools

• Carry out quality checks at each stage to maintain our high standards

• Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe

• Safely lift and handle saddles and components (up to 18kg)

What We're Looking For

• Experience in manufacturing or leatherwork (highly regarded but not essential)

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

• A reliable, positive work ethic

• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions

• Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
