We’re seeking a Pasteurizer Operator at our site in Pittsworth to manage the flow of work through decision making and problem solving to meet targets in terms of production and quality. This role is responsible for meeting long-term outcomes, focussing on the overall goals of the company and team members.

 

What You'll Do:

• Be competent in the process of pasteurisation
• Promote Sunny Queen values and positive culture across both shifts
• Implement the production schedule with supervisors
• Ensure timely startup of daily production operations
• Ensure complaunce with preoperational specifications
• Ensure KPIS are met on all production lines
• Identify, diagnose and resolve operation, manufacturing and maintenance problems
• Timely completion of production reports
• Ensure effective change-over through written and verbal communication
• Attend all relevant meetings regarding safety, training, QA, production and planning
• Plan and action daily cleaning regimes
• Review and maintain work instructions

 

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum 2 years exposure to a large complex organisation with a strong focus on interacting with QA, safety, procurement and training
• Exposure to computerized manufacturing systems such as SCADA
• Experience monitoring and improving in cost control (COGS)
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work under pressure
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Good negotiation and problem solving skills
• Ability to get along with others
