An exciting opportunity exists to work for one of South West Queensland's most dynamic and community responsive organisations. Lifeline Darling Downs (LDDSWQL) has been serving the community of Toowoomba, and the wider South Western Queensland area for over 50 years.

About the Role

This role will assist the Store Manager with general retail duties in our Lifeline stores. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Support the Store Manager in the smooth day-to-day operation of the shop
• Provide general customer service
• Stocking of shelves 
• Keep shop displays tidy and clean

Desirable  

• Demonstrated retail experience with knowledge of clothing and clothing labels/fashion lines or a keen interest in literature. 
• Experience using a cash register or point of sale system.
• Organise and set own work priorities.
• An understanding of training and working with volunteers along with an understanding of Workplace Health and Safety obligations

Successful applicants must be able to gain a National Police History Check clearance prior to commencing.
